The College Heights Stewardship letter was mailed this past week and we ask that you prayerfully consider your pledge. You may bring your pledge card to our Sunday service on February 14th , or mail or email it to the church as soon as possible. Your generosity makes it possible for College Heights United Methodist Church to do wonderful things in God’s name.

February Backpack Ministry Food of the Month --- Peanut Butter

We use 15 - 18 oz. jars; name-brands and store brands are accepted. These are included in the March Spring Break food package and the summer food package in May. Please make certain the “Use By” date is beyond March 2021. Donations may be brought to the church office during office hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Thank you for helping to support this important ministry of our church.

CROP Walk is February 28. Ask a friend or relative to sponsor you. Start anytime, walk anywhere, or you can even walk alone or with your family around your home. Please use safe distancing and follow public health recommendations.

Although we cannot all walk together, our community will walk together in spirit to demonstrate that with something as simple as an afternoon walk we can end hunger. Envelopes and materials are available in the church office, and donations for Crop Walk can be dropped off at the church office on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Beneficiaries of the Lakeland CROP Hunger Walk will be Lighthouse Ministries, Talbot House, and Church World Service’s food, health, nutrition, temporary shelter, refugee, and water projects around the world.

Outdoor Worship in the Courtyard at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Here are our guidelines for outdoor worship:

  • If you are not feeling well, please stay home.
  • Maintain 6' physical distance (with exception of couples/families), especially when entering or exiting the courtyard.
  • Masks are REQUIRED for all persons over the age of two. Extra masks will be available for those who do not bring them.
  • Please greet one another without handshakes or hugs.
  • Bring a lawn chair; we will have extras if needed.
  • Don’t forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses!

If you are planning to attend outdoor worship, please check your e-mail on Sunday morning. We will confirm the status of outdoor worship in the same e-mail that includes the link to the online worship service. (We will continue to provide our online worship service for those more comfortable worshiping at home.)

Please join us for Evening Prayer and Conversation in the Courtyard, Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Saturday Morning Study Group meets at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room.
